COVID-19 Virus / Churchwide Updates
[Updated: May 7, 2020]
Dear FOHC Family,
It has been an unprecedented time for our country and especially for the church. We have missed seeing each of you, but we hold to the hope that this situation will soon be over. We want you to know that we have been and will continue to be mindful of the seriousness of the situation. We have taken appropriate steps to guard yours and your family’s safety here at the church. Our custodial staff is continually working to make sure that the building has been appropriately cleaned and sanitized. We have sanitizing stations set up throughout the church and, we also have extended the distance between the rows in our Sanctuary. Due to the distance between our rows, seating will be limited. Please note, our overflow room will be available with limited seating as well. Please feel free to wear a mask if you desire and we are asking all attendees to respect each other’s personal space.
As many of you know, we are now live streaming the morning services on YouTube. This new ministry will now continue to be a vital part of our Sunday morning here at Fellowship. With that in mind, if you have a weakened immune system, are feeling ill, have traveled outside the state (especially to an area considered a “hotspot”), have been exposed to someone who is sick or you just feel uncomfortable in an enclosed area, please join us from your home on Sundays.
We now want to take a moment to let you know what our official timeline will be in regard to returning to facilitating full church activities again.
Youth and Xtreme Wednesdays will begin again on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Sunday school, nursery care, and Kid’s Church will be available starting on Sunday, June 7, 2020. Please note that all these ministry programs are contingent upon having adequate volunteers and proper safety guidelines in place.
We are looking forward to being able to meeting together again on Sundays and Wednesdays. We want each of you to know that we deeply care for you and are praying for you. If we can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact us.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
